Join us this summer as we head to Tulsa, Oklahoma for a week of serving and learning! Together we will partner with non-profits and churches committed to helping the people of Tulsa. We'll take time everyday for play, for work, and to reflect on the ways that God calls us to live out the gospel. It'll be a TON of fun as we sweat and work hard to serve others in the name of Jesus!

How much will it cost?

The cost for each participant is $650, with a $350 down payment due upon registration approval. This includes all transportation, lodging, meals, and materials.

The team will participate in fund raising efforts to hopefully decrease the final cost of the trip. In addition, we will ask the church body for opportunities to hire teen helpers to earn money for the trip.

The final remaining balance after fundraising efforts will be due by 6/7/2025.

Who can apply to go?

This trip is available to active students of RSM who are incoming freshmen through graduating seniors.

However, students must be known to demonstrate a consistently high maturity level throughout the school year. They must be capable of handling difficult ministry responsibilities. Our students were each responsible for the care of many young, at-risk children in an often difficult environment. An emotional, social, and physical maturity is REQUIRED, and participation in this trip will be up to the adult leaders' discretion.

If your student has not yet been on the HS Mission trip before, a mission trip application will need to be submitted for approval. Please register below (withhold payment until acceptance) and Craig will follow up with the student.

Students will be required to commit to attending the meetings and participate actively in the discipleship training. Homework will be assigned!

What are we going to be doing?

(This part can still change!) The organization we're working with, Praying Pelicans, has full-time staff coordinating with churches in the community. As we get closer to our trip, a definite plan will be made. More than likely we will be doing the same thing our group did last year- we will work with a group of children in a type of day-camp setting, providing learning activities, worship, and plenty of play.

Where will we stay?

We will be staying at the same church where our group stayed last year, Anthem Church. The rooms will be divided by gender, and men's and women's restrooms/showers will be available.

How are we getting there?

We will be arranging our own transportation, most likely renting a passenger van that Craig will drive.

What's the schedule?

June 22 - Depart Redeemer early in the morning Sunday, arrive in Tulsa that afternoon.

June 23- 26 - Serve at worksite.

June 27 - Travel back to Houston!
